The Press has launched its Fund Our Force Campaign as MPs from across the political divide come together to issue a single unified message to the Government.
As revealed exclusively by this paper, proposals by the Home Office could see £10 million slashed off North Yorkshire’s police budget – the equivalent of 300 officers.
We are calling on Home Secretary Jacqui Smith to ensure police retain adequate funding.
