A FREE half-day conference to show how specialist advisers to the dairy sector can help farmers meet the challenge of improving their environmental performance takes place in Harrogate on Tuesday.
The event, at the Pavilions at the Great Yorkshire Showground, has been organised by the Northern Regions of the National Farmers' Union and the Environment Agency Laurie Norris, environment and land use adviser with the North East NFU said: "The onus is on everyone to make sure they understand the issues facing our dairy industry and the potential impact of tighter environmental regulations, at a time when dairy farmers are already facing spiralling input costs."
The conference starts at 10am and finishes with lunch at 1pm. Free places must be booked no later than tomorrow by phoning 01904 451550
