A YORK business, known for its expertise in fitting children’s car seats, has supplied 30 seats to a testing site in North America.
Paul Stride, based at Monks Cross, has sent 30 European Union specification Britax car seats to the Nissan Technical Centre North America, which has a proving ground in the desert in Arizona for testing Nissan vehicles.
The car seats and related accessories were exported through Nissan Europe, based at Cranfield in Bedfordshire, after a tender including several major UK retailers.
Alex Appleby, of Paul Stride, said: “We pride ourselves on the car seats and offering the fitting service and the experience that goes along with that, making sure the car seat is right for the car it’s going into and making sure it is the right fit for the child’s weight.”
