RECYCLING company UNTHA expects to double turnover during 2012 as companies focus on waste management.
UNTHA UK, a supplier of shredding technology based in Boroughbridge, now expects to recruit a new member of staff every month this year.
Chris Oldfield, managing director, said: “With half a million pounds set aside for sales and marketing development, our expansion strategy for this year is very serious. We’re recruiting at the moment and plan to take on at least one more employee every month as 2012 unfolds.
“2011 was the year that more and more organisations really started taking their approach to waste management seriously – a growing number of companies began looking for more efficient and cost-effective ways to utilise their waste. Because this momentum is gathering pace the market for shredders is undoubtedly set to expand.”
He said engineering developments allowing clients to work smarter and achieve more from their shredders would drive the market.
