BAKERY IT specialist RedBlack Software has launched a new Shop Profitability module for its CyBake 3 business management solution.
The business, based in King Street, York, said the module allows bakers to monitor the performance of their individual retail outlets on a monthly, weekly or daily basis.
The CyBake bakery management system already controls the process of purchasing ingredients, recipe formulation and production, through to packaging, ordering and shop delivery for every line item.
William McIlroy, director of RedBlack Software and industry veteran, said: “I have always been acutely aware of the need for this information and had difficulty getting it during my time as a bakery director.
“Now that I am working with RedBlack, it has been possible to produce this function within CyBake and I know that our customer base will value it. The new module allows you to easily monitor the performance of individual shops.
“This information can be used to identify where you are generating cash and to motivate staff to act in ways that will improve profitability.”
