YORK’S heritage attractions and charities are hoping to benefit from amendments simplifying Gift Aid.
A spokesperson for York Museums Trust said: “From the brief details we have seen, York Museums Trust welcomes the Government’s announcement today on the changes to Gift Aid and Inheritance Tax. Gift Aid is already a valuable revenue source for the Trust and it will become increasingly so in the current economical climate. We look forward to receiving more information on how the changes will affect us in due course.”
