MORE than 1,000 business Mafioso will attend the first Yorkshire Mafia Conference on Tuesday.

The Yorkshire Mafia started as a networking group on social media site LinkedIn and after expanding its selected membership into thousands organised the conference, at The Royal Armouries in Leeds, from 9am to 4.30pm.

It will feature high-profile Yorkshire business personalities on its Billion Pound Panel, including Lawrence Tomlinson, founder and Chairman of the LNT Group; Ajaz Ahmed, founder of Freeserve and Dean Hoyle, co-founder of Card Factory and chairman of Huddersfield Town Football Club.
