AN International Business Day to lure local firms into the prospect of exports and imports will be held at the York St John Business School next Tuesday.
Guest speaker will be Tom Vosa, head of market economics and chief economist of Yorkshire Bank. He will give a talk entitled: “Exports and the UK’s changing trade patterns.”
Joining him will be Robin Batchelor, of management consultancy Gilmer Baird Ltd of York, whose subject will be the development of a £50 million global operating company.
The event, which has been organised by the business school with Yorkshire Bank at York St John University, will be free to attend.
It will include a networking lunch and specialist one-to-one sessions with officials from Yorkshire Bank.
