Selby slimming advisers combine to extend into York

TWO slimming advisers in Selby have combined to extend their operations to York – and become a heavyweight business.

Fiona Conor and Louise Drye, both LighterLife weight management counsellors, began their franchises after losing weight through the organisation – Fiona is 3.5 stone lighter while Louise lost three stone.

Louise recently joined Fiona at her base in Wren Lane, Selby, and by combining forces plan to extend the reach of their organisation to York.

From Monday they are opening a new office in Kensington House, York Business Park, Nether Poppleton.

Fiona has operated a successful practice in Selby since 2007, claiming to help almost 300 local people lose more than 500 stone – the equivalent weight of three family cars.

Fiona said: “There are only so many people I can help each week. But with Louise on board and new offices in York we can accommodate more clients and offer more sessions.

“As the business expands and more people in York shrink, we shall open doors at new premises in the city.”

LighterLife is a weight-loss and weight-management programme for people who are a stone or more overweight and with a body mass index of 25 or above.
