STONE Soup, the York-based design agency, has been appointed to create a campaign that will inspire people in Yorkshire to become more active by combining culture and arts with sports and physical education.
The contract comes from imove, the Lottery-backed Yorkshire initiative inspired by the forthcoming Olympics in 2012, and features a series of projects linking art, culture, sport and movement. Stone Soup won a three-way pitch and will work in close partnership with both the imove team and various organisations to research, create and implement a creative programme that will engage the public, including a launch advertising campaign.
Tom Sharp, creative director at Stone Soup, said his team is building the wider design concepts, creative ideas and advertising campaign which will launch in the spring.
