BARBER Titleys, the Harrogate law firm has created full-time jobs for three young lawyers in spite of the tough economic climate.
Two solicitors who joined the firm as trainees in 2007 have gained full-time jobs in key departments, and a third, who joined as a legal secretary, has been granted a full-time training contract.
Edward Taylor, 26, of York, and Matthew Brown, 28, of Harrogate, are now fully-fledged fee earners in the private client department and property department, respectively.
Estella Pengilley, also from Harrogate, who joined the firm as a legal secretary in 2008, is now training to be a solicitor in the company commercial department, with an 18-month training contract which will see her qualify in 2011.
