PROPERTY professionals have shown strong support for this year’s Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors Pro-Yorkshire Awards by submitting an “exceptional” number of entries.
A total of 76 developments have been put forward and are in with a chance of claiming one of the awards, which recognise excellence in the Yorkshire and Humberside property and construction sectors.
Among them is Cundall Manor School, near Boroughbridge, which has been entered into the sustainability category. There are also three in Harrogate, two of which have been submitted by the Regional Agricultural Centre in the commercial and sustainability categories, and The Lawrance serviced apartments, which is competing in the tourism category.
Finalists are due to be announced on March 2 and the winners will be announced at an awards dinner The Pavilion, Elland Road, Leeds, on May 14.
