Planning for my first term in Parliament

Last week I tried to have a week off - it didn't really work out like that.

Instead I spent most of the time raising some issues effecting Holgate and York Outer with Ministers and politicians of the highest level. I began developing a plan for my first term in Parliament.

David Miliband , James Purnell , Meg Munn , John Prescott , John Reid, Hugh Bayley and John Grogan were all very positive about my plans and listened to the concerns I raised. I also caught up with old friends Andy Slaughter MP and former Leader of Hammersmith and Fulham Council, Stephen Burke .

Plans are good but I need to ensure I beat the Conservatives in York Outer to put them into effect!
