Cutty Sark

How sad to see the Cutty Sark reduced to ashes. We only went there a couple of months ago and she was looking good in the sunshine as we arrived by boat from Westminster.

It begs the question, why aren't all of our heritage sites protected with sprinklers. Yes I know it costs money but installing them means jobs for people, so it shouldn't be seen as completely negative. How would we feel if HMS Victory went up in smoke?

It all comes down to priorities I know, but perhaps we the people should be saying where we want our Taxes spent more effectively than we do. We pass out cash willy nilly to Roma Gypsies from Romania who have no rights to any of our state benefits at all, as they have never worked here and have no intention of doing so.

So please write to your MP, you can check who it is by logging on to www.explore.parliament.uk and ask them to stop wasting money on (I hate to use the term but it fits) spongers and use the money for something constructive instead.
