There are two sides to every argument.

Students today are young citizens learning about how they are going to fit into society, how they can be involved through their vote or in other ways and what they can expect from the political system.

They are angry and with good reasons. They hate the prospect of having to pay off debts over 30 of the years they will be trying to establish their place in the world. They feel let down and betrayed by politicians and the voting system. The English students feel resentful that Scottish students pay nothing, even when attending English universities alongside them. Welsh pay a third of the cost in the same circumstances. IT IS LOADED AGAINST THEM AND NOT FAIR!

No wonder they are angry and angry people do angry things.
