David Cameron wants us all to be happy.
We need a smile; even more when times are hard. A warm smile signals caring, generosity, good nature, good humour, good will, well-being, trust and goodness. It shows most in the eyes and speaks louder than words. Eyeball to eyeball.
That's where all the other less friendly signals appear too. I am careful about those who can't look you in the eye, or only for a split second. There is nothing there for me so I have nothing to give until I find out more.
