A NEW limited edition beer has been brewed for the fireworks festival taking place at York Knavesmire on November 5.
Gunpowder Grog has been created by Ossett Brewery’s Rat microbrewery for the event, which includes The Gunpowder Plod 5k run and Fireworks Festival, organised by Rat Race Adventure Sports.
Paul Spencer, The Rat Brewery’s head brewer, said the pale, dry, bitter and intensely hoppy beer, brewed with American Galaxy hops, will only be available in the Fireworks Festival beer tent as a one-off festival special.
