WEDDING couples planning their big day are being reminded of tomorrow’s Yorkshire Living Brides event at York Racecourse.

Organisers of the free event tomorrow promise local suppliers and services including photographers, venues, cakes, gowns, menswear, flowers and entertainment as well as two professional catwalk shows at noon and 2pm.

Alison Spaven, of Yorkshire Living Brides, said: “Our purpose in putting together the Yorkshire Living Brides magazine Wedding Event at York Racecourse is to enable all couples to come and source suppliers who will deliver what they promise.

“Every stand holder has a long relationship with our publications, or has been carefully checked to make sure they can offer quality goods and services. Our photographers, for example, are all professionals – particularly important in the light of recent national newspaper articles about drunken amateurs losing memory sticks from cameras. We hope that each and every couple who visits the show finds what they are looking for. And if not, please let us know, so we can endeavour to get it right next time.”

The event takes place from 11am to 4pm.
