Police in appeal to find missing man, Mark Andrew Nicol, 29

POLICE are appealing for help in finding a missing man with health problems.

Mark Andrew Nicol, 29, has not been seen since 10.45am last Friday, in the Bootham area of York. He is white, 5ft 7ins tall, of slim build and has short, brown hair.

When Mr Nicol was last seen he was wearing a black jacket, black trousers and black shoes. Police are increasingly concerned for Mr Nicol’s welfare as he has health issues and is not believed to have essential medication with him.

He is known to have links to Sunderland.

PC Elaine Duffy, of Clifton Moor Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “Mark, if you see or hear this appeal please get in touch with the police straight away, so that we can confirm you are safe and well. If you have seen Mark since Friday, October 12, or know where he is, please phone North Yorkshire Police on 101 as soon as possible.”
