A DRIVER had to be cut free from a two-vehicle car crash on the A59 on Friday evening.
The crash, between an Audi Q3 and a van, happened near the junction of Station Road near Knaresborough at just after 7pm.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire Service said the two occupants of the van were out of the vehicle on arrival and were uninjured, but the female driver of the Audi was trapped in the car.
Crews removed the roof of the Audi to free the woman, who was taken to hospital by road ambulance with suspected neck and spinal injuries.
