Three-car accident at York junction

THREE cars have been involved in an accident at a busy York junction this morning.
The collision happened at about 8.20am at the junction of Nunnery Lane and Blossom Street, near the Bar Convent and All Saints RC Secondary School, and involved a BMW 3 Series, a Citroen C1 and a Peugeot 206. Nobody was seriously injured but one woman was taken to hospital with a neck injury.
The crash caused delays for drivers using Nunnery Lane and Bishopthorpe Road, but the roads have now cleared.
