The site where Sir Jimmy Savile's grave stone was, removed, in the early hours of this morning.
THE gravestone of shamed TV presenter Sir Jimmy Savile was removed from a Scarborough cemetery overnight.
His family said the triple headstone memorial at Woodlands Cemetery had been dismantled "out of respect to public opinion" following allegations he sexually abused girls.
Scotland Yard revealed yesterday it was pursuing 120 lines of inquiry and there could be 30 victims.
A former York nurse told The Press last week she saw Savile abuse a vulnerable patient on a ward at Leeda General Infirmary in 1972.
