The first occurred on Sandringham Road at Byram between 10.30am and 11.15am on Sunday when two women broke into the home of an 83-year-old man and stole food from his fridge and possibly other items. Both suspects are in their teens to early 20s with medium builds.
In the second incident, on Moss Green Lane, Brayton, at about 1.30am on Monday, a 73-year-old man disturbed three men trying to force open a rear ground floor window at his home.
One of the suspects is aged about 16, with mousey brown hair, slim build, about 5ft 4in tall and was wearing a grey hoody.
