POLICE are hunting a wanted woman who failed to turn up at court in York five months ago.
Samantha Barr, 40, is from Tang Hall in York, and is wanted by North Yorkshire Police after she failed to attend York Crown Court in May for breaching a suspended sentence issued following an assault at a pub in York in March 2011.
Officers believe she may now be in Selby, Leeds or Wakefield. Detective Inspector Dave Kirby, of York police, said: “I am appealing to the public to keep an eye out for Barr and phone the police on 101 if they see her.”
