CHIP fans are being invited to ‘Hi Five’ a giant hand in York to show how much they love them.

McCain Foods UK (Ltd), which is based in Scarborough, is challenging the nation to show its love for chips with a new outdoor advertising campaign which has been launched this week.

It has unveiled a giant hand attached to bus shelters in York, and across the UK. The hand will dispense a money-off coupon when it is high fived.

As always, the mighty Buzz Light-year makes a very valid point. But if you ignore the bigger picture and dismiss the important issues here (like we do), then you're left high-fiving a big blue hand in a bus shelter for cut price chips. What's not to like?
