Teenager rescued from Foss

AN 18-year-old man has been rescued after falling into the River Foss in the early hours of this morning.
Emergency services were called after the man fell from a wall into the river off Tower Street in York at about 4am.
Firefighters got the man out of the river using throw lines and a ladder and the incident was left with the police, a fire service spokesman said.
