Nine new homes planned for Upper Poppleton

NINE new homes are to be built on the site of a former service station in a village on the edge of York.
The proposals for the development by Daniel Gath Homes at The Green, in Upper Poppleton, have been approved by City of York Council, with the company saying they would fit in with other nearby properties.
The homes will range from two-bedroom cottages to three and four-bedroom detached properties. The planning application said: “The scheme has been designed with the central area of Upper Poppleton in mind”.
