9:49am Thursday 4th October 2012 in News
CLEANERS at Transpennine Express services, who took part in a 24-hour strike over pay on Monday, have pledged not to work on rest days or do any overtime until October 15.
The RMT union members work for contractors Carlisle. RMT general secretary Bob Crow said: “It is an absolute scandal that Carlisle continue to refuse to make any kind of reasonable offer to tackle the issue of poverty pay and poor working conditions.”
