Ambulance crashes in York

AN AMBULANCE carrying a patient was involved in collision with a car at roadworks in York today.
The incident happened at 6.44am, according to North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service who also said nobody was trapped or injured in the accident, in Poppleton Road. Fire crews helped move the car from the road.
Yorkshire Ambulance Service were unable to give details about the nature of the patient’s condition, due to a fault in their systems.
