Cyclist seriously ill following Bishopthorpe Road collision

A CYCLIST injured in a collision more than a week ago is still seriously ill in hospital.

The woman, suffered head injuries when she collided with the back of a parked Saab car on Bishopthorpe Road, near the former Terry’s chocolate factory, at about 3.50pm on Sunday, September 23.

She was cycling towards the city-centre at the time.

Anybody who saw the collision should contact Sergeant Hamish Halloway at North Yorkshire Police on 101.
