YOUNG people across York have been urged to take part in a competition to improve two of York’s top attractions.

The Yorkshire Museum’s medieval gallery and York Castle Museum’s toy exhibition are both set to be changed next year, and anyone aged 16 to 24 can suggest improvements, with the winners given a budget to create them.

Amy Parkinson, learning manager at York Museums Trust, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to see their ideas become part of two of our newly displayed galleries which will be seen or used by thousands of visitors each year.”

For information on how you can enter the competition, which closes at 5pm on Friday, email yvonne@nybep.org.uk
