Amber Doig-Thorne aiming for Miss Teen Great Britain 2012 title

A TEENAGER from Dunnington is set to represent York in the Miss Teen Great Britain 2012 awards.
Amber Doig-Thorne, 17, went through to the national final in Blackpool after winning the Miss Teen York 2012 title.
The Mount School student said: “I can’t wait to represent York in the finals, and meet all of the other contestants.”
She said she would join teenagers from across Britain tomorrow in the grand final at The Globe in Blackpool.
As well as juggling volunteering and sports commitments, she is now studying for A-levels in maths, further maths, chemistry, physics, French, and general studies.
