HAXBY Town Council is looking to appoint a clerk following the announcement that the post is soon to become vacant.
The suitable candidate will be expected to assist with council meetings and committees, work with partner organisations and the public, and carry out council decisions.
Mary Crawford, current chairman of the council, said: “Not many people realise the amount of work done by a town council in its neighbourhood.”
