Former York choristers return to Minster School
FORMER York choristers returned to the Minster School at the weekend for their 99th reunion.
They travelled from all over England and Wales and even from The Isle of Man for a lunch in the school, then joined the current choir to sing Evensong in The Minster.
Afterwards, a cheque for £4,000 was presented to the Dean and Chapter to support the choral tradition at York Minster.
The cash was raised by “The Francis Jackson Choral Fund” run through the York Minster Choirister’s Association.
