Emergency training exercise at York University lab

NORTH Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service is warning residents close to the University of York there will be a training exercise taking place on campus this evening (Wednesday).

The operation is due to start at 7.45pm and will simulate an emergency in the biology block.

Residents are warned not to be alarmed if they see fire engines in the area and emergney crews wearing white decontamination suits.
