New guide for York 800 events

A NEW guide outlining York 800 events which are running until the end of the year has been produced.

The list, which is available through leaflets and online, has been produced to help residents and visitors enjoy the year-long celebration of the 800th anniversary of York receiving its Royal Charter from King John.

It includes bonfire and fireworks events as well as festivals, recitals, exhibitions and sporting activities, and can be downloaded from york800.com , where more information about events is also available.

Copies can be picked up from Guildhall and Visit York’s visitor information centre in Museum Street.
