Cyclist suffers head injuries in Tadcaster accident
THE Yorkshire Air Ambulance was called out to Tadcaster today after a cyclist suffered head injuries when he came off his bike.
The male cyclist, understood to be 20, is said by the emergency services to have lost control on a hill near the town’s Sainsbury’s supermarket in Mill Lane early this afternoon.
A Yorkshire Ambulance Service spokesman said the Yorkshire Air Ambulance helicopter attended, but the cyclist was eventually taken by road ambulance to York Hospital .
