Behind the scenes at York Hospital

PATIENTS and residents will get the chance to see behind the scenes at York Hospital on Wednesday when the trust holds its annual open day.
Hospital bosses said the day had been organised to “give people the opportunity to find out more about their local hospital and its services”.
The event runs from 2.30pm to 5.30pm and will include behind-the-scenes guided tours.
The open day will include the annual meeting of York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust at 5pm in the chapel, which will also be open to all.
