Treasurer’s House in York will be throwing its doors open for free on Saturday as part of Heritage Open Day.
Lisa Holden, visitor services manager, said: “It will be a great chance for locals who have never got around to visiting to have a peek for free.”
“This time last year we were seeking visitors’ ideas about what to do with our new rooms. Now we have used that feedback and started to develop the rooms using previously unseen archive photographs and revealing new stories about the man behind Treasurer’s House, Frank Green.”
It will be open from 11am to 4.30pm.
