STARS from Emmerdale will take on a York cricket team on Sunday in a charity fundraising match.

The match is being organised by Phil Allan, of Huntington , who works as a generator operator on the Emmerdale set.
The Lord Mayor of York, Coun Keith Hyman , is also expected to take part. There will be a bouncy castle, a barbecue, tombola, refreshments and a bar.
Gates at the club’s Elm Park Way ground will open at 1pm and the match will start at 2pm.
Admission is £5 per person with children going free with an adult. Tickets can be bought on the day or in advance at the Guildhall.
