Homes plan for Stockton-on-the-Forest pub site

NEW proposals have been drawn up to build nine homes on the site of a York village pub.

London Ebor Developments is looking to build six terraced cottages in the car park of The Fox at Stockton-on-the-Forest and three more properties by converting some of the site’s outbuildings after a previous scheme was withdrawn and revised.

In its application to City of York Council , the company said it planned to retain the pub “in a reduced form”, although this will be covered in a separate proposal.

A decision is expected to be made next month.

Looking at the site from google earth I would not blame them as it would appear to be gross over development
