Malton Food Lovers Market returns next month
11:01am Wednesday 29th August 2012 in News
Malton Food Lovers Market will be celebrating the great Yorkshire harvest when it returns to the town next month.
Michelin-starred chef James Mackenzie from The Pipe and Glass Inn, South Dalton, and Anthony Gillham from The New Malton will be cooking on stage using top-quality ingredients from the area. And the tasting table will display a wide range of products with the theme Moors and Rivers such as venison and trout.
Tom Naylor-Leyland said: “It will be a fantastic celebration of locally-produced, seasonal food and is a fitting way to bring in the harvest season.
“We are pleased to welcome back our regular stallholders and also look forward to some new stallholders joining us, including Staal Smokehouse, Quality Quails and The Greedy Bassets Kitchen.”
The market will be at the Milton Rooms on Saturday, September 15, and entrance is free.
