A MAN has appeared in court accused of raping a five-year-old boy at a house in Selby.
Officers from North Yorkshire Police were called to the property at about 4.45pm on Saturday.
A force spokesman said a 23-year-old man, Kristopher Henderson, has been charged with the rape of a boy under 13.
The man had been remanded in custody until he appeared briefly before York magistrates on Monday, where he was not asked to enter a plea.
He remains in custody and is due to appear before York Crown Court next week.
