Excellence award for York's Register Office

YORK’S Register Office has received a customer service excellence badge from the Government for the way it operates.

An assessor’s report said the office had an “excellent understanding of customers’ needs”, leading to it joining other City of York Council areas such as trading standards, environmental health, licensing and bereavement services in being awarded the accolade.

I fully endorse this assessment of the the Register Office. The staff couldn't have been more helpful when I had to contact them last year.
