Cyclist taken to hospital after crash in York

A 53-YEAR-OLD cyclist was injured in a collision with a car in York today.
The accident happened in Melrosegate, near the junction with Alcuin Avenue, at about 12.45pm.
A police spokeswoman said the cyclist was taken to hospital, but suffered only superficial injuries. Nobody was arrested and the scene was clear by about 1.30pm.
