Three arrests after raid on caravan site in Water Lane, Clifton

THREE people were arrested following a raid on a caravan site in Water Lane in Clifton .
Teams of officers, including dog handlers, descended on the site on Monday afternoon, with the operation going on into the early evening.
A spokesman for York Police said: “At approximately 4.30pm on Monday, police executed a search warrant at a caravan site in Water Lane, York.
“An amount of property was seized and three people were arrested in connection with an ongoing theft investigation.
“They are two men aged 41 and 20 and a woman aged 41.
“All three are from York and have been released on police bail while inquiries continue.”
