Tealight candle sparks house fire

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a small blaze in the bedroom of a house in Smith Close, Fulford, York, this afternoon.
A North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesman said the fire was caused by a tealight candle. One person was treated for slight smoke inhalation and a small amount of damage to furniture was caused.
