Fire crews tackle large blaze at North Yorkshire chicken farm

DOZENS of firefighters are tackling a blaze at a massive chicken farm in North Yorkshire.
Fire crews from Easingwold, Boroughbridge, Ripon, Harrogate, York and Northallerton were called to battle the fire which broken out at the 150-metre by 30-metre poultry farm at Blind Peace Lane, south of Thirsk, at 7.30am today.
It is not known yet how many, if any, chickens died in the fire.
