ADORE animals? Passionate about pets?

Then you will love an event celebrating the region’s most show-stopping pets which will be staged in York later this month.

The show, on Saturday, July 28, welcomes dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and less fluffy species such as reptiles.

The event at Murton Auction Centre – which will be held undercover in case of any summer showers – will be packed full of pampered, amazing animal displays, and fun and informative talks and demonstrations.

Pets will compete for the title of best animal in fixed categories, with their owners each hoping to take home the top prize of a year’s free supply of animal feed.

Two runners-up in each category – best small animal, best small and large dogs, best cat and best exotic animal – will receive a rosette.

Last year’s inaugural show established itself as a must-do family fun day out, whether you are looking to compete or just attend.

To enter your pet just fill in the entry form , or visit York Auction Centre, Murton, York YO19 5GF, for more information.
