FIREFIGHTERS were called in to rescue the driver of a tractor which was in danger of toppling over in a North Yorkshire town today.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the JCB became stuck in a "precarious position" at Harlow Carr Gardens, in Harrogate, at about 3.40pm.
It is thought to have overbalanced onto its front with its rear wheels in the air, about 45 degrees from the ground. Fire crews secured the vehicle with a winch before helping the driver, who was not injured, from the cab by using a ladder.
